Enterprise Greece RAG / chatbot – live site redirects

Use this file when your internal knowledge base does not contain a sufficient answer, or when the user explicitly asks for official listings, media assets, or portal pages that change frequently.

When redirecting, give the canonical URL in full, a one-line reason, and invite the user to check there for the latest information.

1. Events (εκδηλώσεις, ημερολόγιο, συνέδρια, εκθέσεις, missions)

When: The user asks about upcoming or past Enterprise Greece events, the events calendar, exhibition participation, business missions tied to the calendar, or anything where dated / filtered listings matter.

Redirect to:
https://www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr/el/imerologio-ekdiloseon/

Edge case — user names a specific exhibition or trade fair

Trigger signals: The user mentions a named exhibition or trade fair (e.g. “SIAL 2026”, “Anuga”, “Prodexpo”, “WorldFood Moscow”, “FOODEX Japan”, or any proper-noun fair name), combined with intent words such as “participate”, “take part”, “how to join”, “register”, “apply”, “I would like to…”.

Problem to avoid: Replying only with the generic trade email ([email protected]) is not wrong, but it leaves the user without a direct path to check whether Enterprise Greece is organising a participation for that fair.

Correct handling:

  1. Acknowledge the specific fair the user mentioned.
  2. Redirect to the events calendar so they can check for an organised participation entry:
    https://www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr/el/imerologio-ekdiloseon/?event-category=11199
  3. Suggest they use the calendar’s search / filters to look for that exhibition by name or date.
  4. Then mention [email protected] as the follow-up contact if the fair is not listed or they need further details.

Example reply structure (adapt language to the user’s):

“For participation in [Fair Name], you can first check whether Enterprise Greece is organising a stand via the events calendar: [link]. If the fair is not listed or you need more details, contact the trade team at [email protected].”

2. Competitions & invitations (διαγωνισμοί, προσκλήσεις, tenders, RFQ, calls for proposals)

When: The user asks about public tenders, calls for proposals, invitations to participate, procurement, or downloadable competition documents published by Enterprise Greece.

Redirect to:
https://www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr/el/diagonismoi-proskliseis/

3. Investment (not covered in the knowledge base)

When: The user asks about foreign direct investment, investing in Greece, licensing, financing, investor information, or Regional Greece materials for investors—and the answer is missing, uncertain, or outdated in your KB.

Redirect to:
https://www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr/el/proselkisi-ependiseon/investment-helpdesk/

Hint: The Investment Helpdesk hub links to guides, specialised investor info, Greece by region, publications, and external links.

4. Exports (not covered in the knowledge base)

When: The user asks about export promotion, the export guide, export statistics, the knowledge centre, or FAQs, and the answer is missing, uncertain, or outdated in your KB.

Redirect to:
https://www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr/el/proothisi-eksagogon/export-helpdesk/

5. Videos and images (φωτογραφίες, βίντεο, promotional media)

When: The user asks for videos, photos, press kits, promo materials, or visual Media Center content.

Redirect to:
https://www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr/el/media-center/?media-type=11148

Note: media-type=11148 targets the Video filter as on the live site. Users can switch media type or sector from the same page. For the newsletter, use section 6 below—not this video/photo filter.

6. Newsletter (monthly issues, subscribe, ενημερωτικό δελτίο)

When: The user asks about the Enterprise Greece newsletter, subscribing to news and updates, registering for the mailing list, past or current newsletter issues, or monthly organisation news from the Media Center.

Redirect to:
https://www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr/en/media-center/?media-type=11190

What to tell the user: The Media Center hosts Enterprise Greece’s newsletter archive. Issues are published monthly (in English) and listed by month (e.g. “Newsletter June 2026”). The query parameter media-type=11190 applies the Newsletter filter on the live site; older issues are available via pagination on the same page.

Subscribe: To join the newsletter for future editions, direct the user to the Join our Newsletter / Register option on the official Enterprise Greece website (available from the site footer and Media Center navigation). For downloading or reading a specific past issue, the filtered Media Center link above is authoritative.

7. Contact details — which email to provide

Rule: When providing contact information, select the email based on the topic of the question — do not use a single generic email for everything.

Topic Contact email
Investments, foreign direct investment, investment plans, licensing, financing, investment incentives [email protected]
Exports, export activity, trade team, trade fairs, business missions, export helpdesk [email protected]
Chatbot malfunction, technical error, or feedback about the bot itself (not investment/export content) [email protected]

Examples of correct routing:

Note: Use [email protected] only for issues with the chatbot tool (errors, bugs, feedback). For substantive investment or export questions, use [email protected] or [email protected] even if the user is unhappy with an answer.

Note: If the question spans both topics (e.g. an export-oriented investment), prioritise the email that best matches the user's primary need, or mention both with a brief explanation.

Suggested reply pattern (Greek or English)

  1. Acknowledge the topic briefly.
  2. State that schedules, tenders, and media libraries change and the official page is authoritative.
  3. Provide one markdown link (full URL above).
  4. Optional: mention how to refine (filters on calendar / media type, or newsletter month / pagination).
